FROM THE DESK OF THE GRAND MASTER

 

I bring you fraternal greetings;

 

This year, more than ever, we have been tested in almost every way imaginable.  As the saying goes, if you have never been tested, how can you ever have a testimony? We are taught to believe in the sermons we see, more so than the ones we hear.  We will be walking sermons, walking testimonies of overcoming obstacles along our way.   If we remain steadfast and unmovable, our testimony will be one of triumph and victory.

 

When entering a dark room, let us not be afraid.  Let us simply turn our lights on and let them shine.  Matthew 5:16 states “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works.”   

 

The members of this great state continue to impress me with the cohesive bond being displayed!  Brothers and Sisters, as we transition into a new fiscal year, please take heed to our theme, which is “Faith is the substance for our future.”  If you read Hebrews 11:1, it teaches us that FAITH is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. 

 

Take the thoughts shared in these words and use them as your guidance to go forth and spread the cement of brotherly love amongst the community, but more especially to one another.
